About the Tourist Information Centre (TIC)
The TIC opened Feb 2020 with one member of staff and a staff member from the Palace together with several volunteers.
Due to covid we were closed on and off for 8 months. Now fully open with two members of staff and a volunteer, the TIC has gone from strength to strength. We are passionate about what service we give and what is on offer to both our visitors and locals.
Our shop ethos is portable affordable & some of our stock is locally produced & hand made.
We have attended nearly all the tours on offer so we are better informed.
We also have a visitors book which we encourage feedback.
We also take part in Elf day (which happens in November) where we do a fund raising raffle dressed as elves and with donations from the locality we have lots of fun raising money for The Alzheimer's Society.
We have a good network with the attractions we serve and other Tourist Information Centres.
Opening hours:
Monday to Saturday 9am - 3pm
CLOSED Sunday & Bank Holidays
