Experience a Choral Pilgrimage: The Musical Roads to Compostela
Wells, Somerset - join us for an evening of exquisite choral music with The Swan Singers as they present The Musical Roads to Compostela, a unique journey through the music of England, France, the Basque Country, and Portugal, culminating in Santiago de Compostela. This special benefit concert for Evolve Music will take place on Saturday, 25th January 2025, at 7 PM in the stunning surroundings of St Thomas Church, Wells.
This 70-minute performance promises to transport audiences with works by iconic composers, including Victoria, Lobo, Philips, Vivanco, and Debussy alongside words from writers including Chaucer, Bunyon and Roosevelt.
Based in the picturesque city of Wells, The Swan Singers are celebrated for their performances spanning the Renaissance to the modern day. Their artistry and passion for choral music make this concert an unmissable experience for music lovers. In this, their 10th anniversary season, they are delighted to be taking part in Evolve Music's Play it Forward scheme.
Tickets are priced at £10 (plus booking fees) and can be purchased via Eventbrite or on the door of the event. Seating is limited to 220, so early booking is advised to secure your place.
